​To our dedicated site for the Rolodex Invitational.



Thirteen years ago a tradition was born.  As I like to say it's a "Tradition Like Others, But All Our Own." We have been very fortunate to enjoy the camaraderie, relaxation, and laughter that accompany taking a break from being father's and husbands.  Hopefully one day we can pass on all that fun as our sons eventually join in this welcome retreat.

In the year of our Lord 2026 we forge ahead under a new banner.  During the annual committee meeting, with a majority vote, the committee has opted to retire the name, "Al's Nest Open" and rebrand under the name "Rolodex Invitational."  The Al's Nest location and name will forever be our legacy.  God bless the Al's Nest and all who have slept under the squirrels. 

 

My goal in creating this site ​is to provide a record of all the fun that we have had over the years, provide ease of use to keep things organized, and to hopefully encourage more friends to set aside the time to join us for a day or two in June.

The Rolodex Invitational dates for the XIII event are June 10th to June 14th.

Wednesday June 10th 2026 - Evening Arrival and Rolodex Invitational Rules Discussion

Thursday June 11th 2026 - Shawnee Golf Course

Friday - June 12th 2026 - Paupack Hills Golf Course

Saturday - June 13th 2026 -  The Poconos Club aka CCOP

Sunday - June 14th 2026 - Cleanup and Head Home

Notes: 

Weather:  We play rain or shine. Nice days can turn nasty quickly in the mountains.

 

Packing:  Pack like you are going into the woods because you are.  The weather can swing 30 degrees easy day to night. 

 

Food:  Please indicate what you are bringing and when/if you are cooking when you register.

​

Booze:

Plan on cans if you are taking beer out to the course.  Each person should bring 2-3 cases of beer with them.  Any direction you go in if you have to just "pick something up" is at least a 1/2 hour of your time. Bring the beer with you.

 

The question as always is, "Who will win the coveted Baby Gaumer?"
